BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 500 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

Sarah Mines, Vice President, Sales at ICEF, has spent the better part of her career in international education leadership. She has a keen understanding of international student recruitment and retention and has presented at over 30 different conferences on topics ranging from marketing to millennials to global student mobility projections.
Sarah has an extensive background in all aspects of internationalisation, specialising in developing and maintaining international partnerships for institutions. Sarah has in-depth knowledge of global education trends for the language, K-12 and post-secondary sectors, and she is known as a natural communicator and connector .
Giving back is important to Sarah. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Vancouver Mount Pleasant Riding Association, is a founding member of GLOW Ed, and has been invited to be among the #First50 and a Mentor at Lead 50/50.
