BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 500 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

Michelle Suderman

Director for International Student Development
Michelle Suderman is Associate Director for International Student Development at the University of British Columbia. She holds a BA in Germanic Studies (University of Victoria), an MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (University of Alberta) and is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy (University of British Columbia). Michelle has lived, worked, studied or traveled in 25 countries across North America, Europe and Asia. In 2013 Michelle was awarded the CBIE Chair’s Award for Meritorious Service by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), where she is a past chair of the Immigration Advisory Committee.
