Heather Williams is currently on secondment with the Office of the Vice Provost Students and International to help develop a strategic plan on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for students at Simon Fraser University. Previously Heather has worked as the Language and Culture Curriculum Coordinator with Work Integrated Learning & the Centre for English Language Learning, Teaching and Research. She has combined her knowledge of intercultural education and student preparation to create this unique curriculum designed specifically to meet students in their strengths. Heather has earned the certificate in intercultural studies from UBC and is working on a Masters in Equity Studies through SFU. In her work, you will find traces of her passion for life-long learning, the understanding, and advocacy for experiential education and some sneaky undertones of yoga philosophy.
