BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 500 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. This session is based on a report commissioned by the British Columbia Ministry of Education on international K-12 mobility. The report investigated global trends in K-12 mobility, both from a sending country and receiving country perspective. British Columbia was analyzed in the context of Canada and other destination countries such as Australia and the U.S. Analyzed sending countries included, among others, Brazil China, Japan, and Vietnam. The report highlights competitive trends and offers advice on growing international K-12 intake while maintaining student quality.
