Implementing admission integrity and recruitment measures as a responsible DLI

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Many Canadian DLI’s have a bit of luxury right now, reaching and surpassing recruitment targets, allowing the opportunity to cut down on applications, yet still have enough students, which provides a good opportunity to look at best practices that might not have been as active during difficult times, but now can be, and should be implemented. Everyone wants to add integrity and improve reputations.
Yet at the same time many Canadian DLI’s are experiencing capacity issues and overload of applications. We don’t want this to get out of control. It becomes necessary to implement strategic enrolment measures - streamlining the funnel to eliminate non-genuine students, rejecting applications, and priorities are shifting regularly and almost invisibly – how to manage international admissions during these times?
And how it is possible to work with agents as partners in quality control - working collaboratively with agents who have to deal with the invisible criteria that is different than the public criteria. How the crush of applications from certain markets affects education agencies.
In this session, the speakers will discuss and share issues, experiences, and strategies surrounding admission integrity and strategic enrolment management and will elicit others to share and discuss as well.
