BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 500 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

What is Faculty’s role in Internationalization? This session explores the approach used by a group of KPU Faculty to strengthen the connection between students, educators, employers and support services to improve the educational experience for all learners. Learn how Faculty influenced recruitment, orientation and onboarding of International students and discuss enhancing the classroom experience, the development of intercultural competencies and student exchange participation. KPU’s grassroots initiative has evolved into a model that impacts Internationalization for all students and has been adopted by other Faculties. ​
